Jonathan Spergel, MD, PhD, Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, oversees the FARE Clinical Network’s Data Coordination Center. A collaborative endeavor with Westat, the FARE Data Coordination Center supports the design, development, execution, monitoring and analysis of clinical research studies, including clinical trials to evaluate promising therapeutics and approaches for food allergy treatment and prevention.

Amal Assa’ad, MD, Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, serves as Principal Investigator of the FARE Clinical Network’s Biobank and Biomarker Discovery Center, the first and only biobank dedicated to food allergy. The FARE Biobank is responsible for the acquisition, processing, storage and distribution of biospecimens for FARE Clinical Network research.
