Trace Adkins and Tenn. Senators Support Food Allergy Legislation
Country star Trace Adkins joined U.S. Senators Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker and representatives of the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) to announce they will co-sponsor legislation that would help schools protect the more than 2.2 million children nationwide – including 41,000 Tennesseans – who suffer from life-threatening food allergies. In honor of the 11th annual Food Allergy Awareness Week, May 11-17, The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) unveiled its new advocacy initiative “Five Steps Forward for Food Allergy.”

Research Study: Call for Participants
Do you have a child under 12 months of age with an egg, milk, or peanut allergy? You and your child may qualify to participate in an NIH co-sponsored study to discover ways for better diagnosis, treatment and prevention of food allergy. This observations study includes typical food allergy care including usual skin and blood tests, and treatment all free of charge as part of the study.
